I am 22 years old, yet I've been through some stuff in my short life, lost 2 of my closest friends in the army, one of them took his own life. Also, 6 months ago my cousin passed away too.
It is mostly death, that gives you a different point of view on life, but even before those losses, I have looked at the world differently.
Or in Rorschach's (The watchmen) words "This city is afraid of me, I've seen its true face."
So if I could give my little sister and nieces anything, that would be my knowledge of this life.
A manual to help them see the world as it is, so they won't have to experience the ugly sides of it and live better than I been living.
I used the 'eye of Horus' (Ra) on the book, which represent protection and also knowledge. The ankh, also known as 'the key of life', actually represent resurrection, but I gave it a different meaning.
I am a bit disappointed with the wings (they were supposed to look like the wings of the angels from supernatural) but whatever
Hope I didn't break any contest rule here.
